The Landing
Visitors to Riverside boarding the Spirit of Jefferson from the modern boat landing.
In October of 1999, Riverside hosted its first public cruises from its newly-completed modern boat dock. The dock provides the property with a direct reconnection to the Ohio River. This link is important historically because an active riverboat landing tied this remote farm site to the larger world from the 1820s through the turn of the 20th century.

The modern boat landing allows Riverside's visitors to board a riverboat at the landing once again and take in the pleasures of a leisurely cruise along the Ohio. The Spirit of Jefferson cruises from the dock on specific dates during the months of July through October [information].
