Family Archaeology Lab Program

Join archaeologists from the Kentucky Archaeological Survey for a behind-the-scenes archaeology tour and learn to wash, identify and study artifacts with the pros! This is a FREE drop-in program for families. Archaeologists are here from 10 am to 4 pm. The behind-the-scenes tour takes place at 11:30 am (weather permitting). Family Farm & Forage Day

  On Saturday, June 16, we will celebrate the rich history of this historic farm site--and explore present-day farming! Activities for the whole family:  horse-drawn wagon rides, farm animal petting zoo, 4-H fair, "Bessie" the Cow Milking Demos, musical entertainment, children's planting activities, Kentucky Proud recipe tastings, Kentucky State University mobile kitchen demos, and tours of the Farnsley-Moremen House.
